Register7 Web Ledger
Posting policy Vol. I 833 entries
Register7 is a free web directory maintained as an expedition log of the open web. The project began with a survey of active websites across 22 defined sectors, recording each entry by domain, title, and description. The result is a structured catalogue — 833 entries at last count — organised into field stations that cover everything from financial services and medical providers to travel operators and technology platforms. Each station in the log corresponds to a broad sector of online activity. Visitors can browse by station to find services in a particular category, or scroll through the full list of logged entries. The index is built for exploration: there is no ranking algorithm, no paid placement, and no editorial scoring. An entry appears in the log because an operator submitted it and a reviewer confirmed it met the basic field criteria for the selected station. Submissions to Register7 are free and open to any website operator. The submission form accepts a URL, a category selection, and a brief site description. After submission, the entry enters a review queue before being confirmed in the log. The process is designed to be straightforward — operators should expect their entry to appear within a standard review cycle. The Register7 log is updated as new submissions arrive. The 22 field stations are fixed in the current edition of the directory, but the count of logged entries within each station grows over time. Operators who submitted sites during the early expedition phase will find their entries in the current log alongside newer additions. The directory is provided as a free public resource. There is no charge to browse the log, and there is no charge to submit a site for inclusion. Register7 is maintained as a neutral record of the open web, with no commercial agenda attached to any listing.
